GERMANY, LUCKENWALDE, BRANDENBURG – September 10, 2019: An Electric Temple of Culture Fires Up. The EWERK, a disused station plant outside oof Berlin has been turned into a novel hybrid business: a contemporary art center and renewable energy plant in one. Its opening comes at a time when the links between energy companies and arts organizations are increasingly in focus.

The contemporary art centre on the first floor includes a 350 m² Turbine Hall, two multipurpose exhibition spaces and a gallery dedicated to historical presentations.
